The following is a biography of Kapua Dalire-Moe:
Kapua Dalire-Moe, the head of Hālau Ka Liko Pua O Kalaniākea, learned hula from her mother starting at the age of two, becoming a first-generation Miss Aloha Hula.
She has performed as a dancer for Keolalaulani Hālau ʻO Lapa ʻO Laka and has participated in numerous hula competitions. In 1991, she herself became Miss Aloha Hula.
In 2003, she became independent and founded Hālau Ka Liko Pua O Kalaniākea with two bases, one in Kāneʻohe, Oʻahu, and the other in Japan.
Currently, she has established a hālau in Kāneʻohe and San Francisco, and is expanding her range of instruction in Japan.
