The following is a biography of Kapua Dalire-Moe:

​Kapua Dalire-Moe, the head of Hālau Ka Liko Pua O Kalaniākea, learned hula from her mother starting at the age of two, becoming a first-generation Miss Aloha Hula.

​She has performed as a dancer for Keolalaulani Hālau ʻO Lapa ʻO Laka and has participated in numerous hula competitions. In 1991, she herself became Miss Aloha Hula.

​In 2003, she became independent and founded Hālau Ka Liko Pua O Kalaniākea with two bases, one in Kāneʻohe, Oʻahu, and the other in Japan.

​Currently, she has established a hālau in Kāneʻohe and San Francisco, and is expanding her range of instruction in Japan.
